Cats are not adapted to home cooking and grains. Grains are mostly starchy and carbohydrate-based, their digestive systems are not ready for this. Grain-free food does not mean carbohydrate-free food. The maximum carbohydrate percentage should be 25%.
Cats are fed a diet rich in protein. But addressing the protein is important. The protein ratio can be increased with powdered laboratory protein, vegetable protein, and grain proteins. These proteins are more harmful than animal protein. In order to choose a good food, we must definitely examine the content of the food.
Cats should not be fed 100% dry food or 100% wet food.A wet diet should be added to the dry diet to increase the richness of taste, to prevent dehydration and for future diets. The best wet food is the food we prepare ourselves. Raw or cooked feeding can be applied according to the breeder's preference. Wet food recipes prepared with real meat-chicken-fish-liver and some vegetables that contain fiber in addition to these increase hydration, provide palate richness, support additional protein and weight gain.
