To obtain a chocolate kitten, both breeding cats must be chocolate carriers.

The point gene is checked at Locus C;

If one of my breeding cats is not a point gene carrier, we cannot obtain a point kitten.

If both breeding cats have point color, we cannot obtain a primary color kitten.

The color-lightening gene dilution at Locus D is controlled.

If we want to get a lilac golden kitten, both of our breeding cats must have the Cy color code or both breeding cats must be chocolate+dilution carriers.
